Terms and conditions
TERMS OF SERVICE
1. General
The version of the General Terms and Conditions valid at the time the contract is concluded is relevant.
The offers and services are based on these general terms and conditions, unless otherwise agreed in individual contracts. The customer’s terms and conditions only apply if they have been expressly agreed upon in writing beforehand.
The services offered by the Lenggries Ski School do not constitute a binding offer to conclude a contract, but rather simply an invitation to the viewer to make an offer to the Lenggries Ski School.
2. Conclusion of contract
Registration for courses is possible using the online form or in the Lenggries ski school’s offices. This is binding. By sending a registration confirmation or handing out a course ticket on site, a contractual relationship is concluded between the Lenggries Ski School and the customer.
The Lenggries Ski School can withdraw from the contract and cancel the course if it is not possible to hold a course for reasons that are not the responsibility of the Lenggries Ski School (e.g. lack of snow, no lift operation, illness of the instructor). The same applies if at least 4 registrations per course group are not reached.
In these cases, the participant will be informed in advance and the course fee will be refunded.
3. Prices
All prices displayed online, in flyers and in the Lenggries Ski School business premises include the applicable VAT. We assume no liability for printing errors or errors in pricing and are entitled to charge the current price. The course prices do not include lift costs or rental fees. Except for school and kindergarten courses, these have a flat rate for lift costs..
4. Payment Methods
To pay for the services ordered on the Lenggries Ski School website, the customer is offered the payment options credit card and Paypal.
In the business premises it is possible to pay by credit card, EC card, PayPal and ca
5. Withdrawal / Cancellation Fees
5.1. The customer is entitled to withdraw from the concluded contract against payment of the cancellation costs listed below. The withdrawal must be sent in writing to the Lenggries Ski School by post or email. In the event of withdrawal by the customer, the Lenggries Ski School is entitled to charge the following cancellation costs:
Cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the course 25% of the course price
Cancellation from 13 to 7 days before the start of the course 50% of the course price
Cancellation from 6 days before the start of the course 100% of the course price
The decisive factor for the above-mentioned deadlines is the receipt of the declaration of withdrawal.
5.2. The processing fee for bookings, partial cancellations etc. is €25
Rebookings are not possible!
5.3. Lesson time or course days missed by the participant will not be refunded or made up for.
6. Group Lessons
6.1. The meeting point for course allocation is at 9.30 a.m. at the Lenggries ski school meeting point on the Draxlhang, with course ticket/booking confirmation, ski equipment and lift ticket if required. It is no longer possible to start the course after 10 a.m.!
The groups are divided into the course class/performance level according to age and ability according to the information provided by the customer. If a customer/participant does not fit into the specified course class after prior screening, they may be changed to another group. Changes in teachers are also possible due to the flexible organization.
6.2. If the minimum number of participants per group of 6 participants for dwarf courses and 7 participants for all other group courses is not reached, the Lenggries Ski School reserves the right to combine groups or to shorten the lesson time or convert it into private lessons.
The group size corresponds to the student-to-teacher ratio. Sometimes it makes sense to put groups of the same ability level together; then it is not the total number of students that counts as the group size, but rather the student-to-teacher ratio.
6.3. The minimum age for group courses is 4 years. The participant must be 4 years or older at the start of the course. The minimum age will be checked; if you are 4 years old, please bring ID/document with you. If this is not the case for a participant, the Lenggries Ski School reserves the right to exclude the course without refunding the course fees.
6.4 Course registration is personal and cannot be transferred.
6.5 The Lenggries Ski School reserves the right to exclude participants from the course if course operations are impaired by the participants or accompanying persons. For example, if participants do not follow safety-relevant instructions from the ski instructor, if accompanying persons repeatedly stop the ongoing training course. Likewise, if there is no suitable group for individual participants or if incorrect registrations occur, if participants do not meet the requirements for the registered course class.
In these cases, the course fee for the course days not started will be refunded pro rata.
7. Place of Performance
The Lenggries Ski School courses take place in the Brauneck/Lenggries-Wegscheid ski area. If ski courses are not possible due to a lack of snow, we will try to find practical alternatives. If no suitable alternatives can be found, the course may be canceled.
If the Lenggries Ski School cancels, the course fees will be refunded pro rata.
The ski courses take place in all weathers, unless the lift operations are stopped due to weather conditions.
8. Disclaimer
The customer acknowledges that skiing involves numerous risks and participation is at their own risk. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
The ski school is not liable for accidents directly related to the courses or their execution, unless caused by the ski school or its service providers.
Furthermore, the ski school is only liable for the proper execution of the courses. The ski school assumes no further liability. In any case, liability is limited to three times the course price.
In particular, the ski school assumes no liability whatsoever for damages that the customer inflicts on themselves or others during the agreed-upon services, or that are inflicted on them by others.
9. Legal
German law applies. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the headquarters of the Lenggries ski school
