Terms and conditions
TERMS OF SERVICE
1. General
The version of the General Terms and Conditions that is valid at the time the contract is concluded is decisive.
The offers and services are based on these general terms and conditions, unless otherwise agreed in individual contracts. The customer’s terms and conditions only apply if this has been expressly agreed in writing beforehand.
The services offered by the Lenggries ski school do not represent a binding offer to conclude a contract, but merely an invitation to the viewer to submit an offer to the Lenggries ski school.
2. Conclusion of contract
Registration for group courses is possible via the online form or in the offices of the Lenggries ski school. This is binding. A contractual relationship between the Lenggries ski school and the customer comes into being through the transmission of a confirmation of registration or the handing over of a course ticket on site.
The Lenggries ski school can withdraw from the contract and cancel the course if it is not possible to hold a course for reasons for which the Lenggries ski school is not responsible (e.g. lack of snow, no lift operation, illness of the instructor). The same applies if the minimum number of 4 registrations per course group is not reached.
In these cases, the participant will be informed in advance and the course fee will be refunded.
3. Prices
All prices displayed online, in flyers and on the business premises of the Lenggries Ski School include the applicable VAT. We assume no liability for misprints and errors in price information and are entitled to charge the current price. The course prices do not include lift costs or rental fees.
4. Payment Methods
The customer is offered the payment options credit card and Paypal to pay for the ordered services on the Lenggries Ski School website.
Payment options in the business premises are by credit card, EC card, PayPal and cash
5. Withdrawal / Cancellation Fees
The customer is entitled to withdraw from the concluded contract against payment of the cancellation costs listed below.
The withdrawal must be sent in writing by post or email to the Lenggries ski school.
In the event of withdrawal by the customer, the Lenggries ski school is entitled to charge the following cancellation costs:
Cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the course 25% of the course price
Cancellation from 13 to 7 days before the start of the course 50% of the course price
Cancellation from 6 days before the start of the course 100% of the course price
The receipt of the declaration of withdrawal is decisive for the above-mentioned deadlines.
The handling fee for bookings, partial cancellations, etc. is €25
Rebooking is not possible.
Course days missed by the participant or lesson time not used will not be refunded or made up.
6. Group Lessons
The groups are divided according to age and ability in the course class/performance level according to the information provided by the customer. If a customer/participant does not fit into the specified course class after prior screening, there may be a change to another group. Changes in teachers are also possible due to the flexible organization.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, 6 participants for minis courses, 7 participants for all other group courses, the Lenggries Ski School reserves the right to merge groups or adjust the number of lessons.
The minimum age for group courses is 4 years. The participant must be 4 years or older at the beginning of the course. The minimum age will be checked, if you are 4 years old please bring an ID/document with you. If this is not the case for a participant, the Lenggries ski school reserves the right to exclude the course without refunding the course fees.
The group size corresponds to the participants-instructor ratio. Sometimes it makes sense to put groups of the same level together, then it is not the total number of students that counts but the participants-instructor ratio.
Meeting point for course allocation is at 9.30 a.m. at the meeting point of the Lenggries ski school on the Draxlhang, with course ticket/booking confirmation, ski equipment and lift ticket if required. After 10 a.m. it is no longer possible to join the course!
The course tickets are personal and cannot be transferred.
Compensation for missed course days will not be granted retrospectively
Skischool Lenggries reserves the right to exclude participants from the course if course operations are impaired by the participants or accompanying persons. For example, if participants do not follow safety-related instructions from the ski instructor, if accompanying persons repeatedly hold up the ongoing ski course. The same applies if there is no suitable group for individual participants.
In these cases, the course fee for the course days not started will be reimbursed pro rata.
7. Place of Performance
The Lenggries ski school courses take place in the Brauneck/Lenggries-Wegscheid ski area. If a ski course is not possible due to a lack of snow, we will try to find practicable alternatives. If no suitable alternatives can be found, the course may be canceled.
If the Lenggries ski school cancels, the course fees will be reimbursed pro rata.
The ski courses take place in any weather, unless the lift operation is suspended due to the weather.
8. Disclaimer
The customer acknowledges that practicing skiing is associated with numerous risks and that participation is at your own risk. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
Except for damage to health, body and life, we are only liable for gross negligence and intent. In any case, liability is limited to three times the price of the course.
In particular, the Lenggries ski school assumes no liability whatsoever for damage that the customer inflicts on himself or other persons during the performance of the agreed service or is inflicted on him by them.
9. Legal
German law applies. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the headquarters of the Lenggries ski school
10. Privacy
Personal data will only be used to process the booking and course organization in compliance with the applicable regulations. More information in the privacy policy
